Join Us in Syracuse! Championship weekend is Friday October 25 to Monday October 28, 2024. Please join us as we cheer on the Roslyn Marching Band during their performance in the SS1 division. Over the past 7 years, RMB has taken home the Governor’s Cup three times (2015, 2017, 2022). After their first place win in the SS2 Division in 2022, RMB was promoted to compete in the SS1 division last year (the most competitive division in the Small School category). They scored a 92.25 and placed second, receiving the silver medal! For more information about the RMB itinerary in Syracuse, please click here . ​ HOTEL INFORMATION: Band Fans has reserved a block of rooms at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Syracuse Carrier Circle at a discounted rate. Rooms must be booked by October 4th to receive the discounted rate. Please note that the SS1 division is scheduled to perform in the evening on Sunday October 27, 2024, with the awards ceremony to follow at 10pm. Because of this, it may be practical for some families to stay through Monday morning. Winter Guard When the marching band season ends, many of our members continue spinning as members of our winter guard. Winter guard takes place indoors (in a gymnasium), and involves students performing to recorded music. The winter guard is locally competitive, appearing around the tri-state area. In their first ever competitive season, the Roslyn Winterguard were the 2023 M.A.I.N. Scholastic A class gold medalists! 1/3 2024 Schedule: 1/4

Support the Roslyn Marching Band The Roslyn Marching Band has become one of the most successful organizations at Roslyn High School. The band this year accounts for almost 180 Children, a dedicated staff, and amazing parents who all contribute to their success. Running such an operation requires a good deal of money, and the band is supplemented by the Roslyn Marching Band Fans, a 501c3 charitable organization . Any donation amount helps us keep the program in good stead, whether fixing equipment, running events, or helping others. All donations are tax deductible! We have lots of ways to support the Roslyn High School Marching Band. You can donate directly or participate in our fundraisers Families! Please consider supporting us at our competitions!
