Support the Roslyn Marching Band! The Roslyn Marching Bulldogs have a proud legacy of excellence, having secured four state championships in 2015, 2017, 2022, and most recently in 2024. Their latest triumph marked a historic milestone as they claimed the top spot in the prestigious SS1 class – the highest division for small schools – earning the Governor’s Cup with a remarkable score of 94.35. The Bulldogs didn’t just win; they dominated, also receiving the high caption awards for Best Music, Best Visual, and Best General Effect, showcasing their all-around mastery and dedication. As the band continues to grow and reach new heights, they are currently fundraising for a much-needed new trailer to transport instruments and equipment safely and efficiently. Every donation, big or small, brings them one step closer to this vital goal. Winter Guard When the marching band season ends, many of our members continue spinning as members of our winter guard. Winter guard takes place indoors (in a gymnasium), and involves students performing to recorded music with intellectual productions, elaborate scenery and props. Our winter guard appears in the Mid Atlantic Indoor Network (MAIN) locally, as well as Winter Guard International (WGI) at the national level. In their first ever competitive season, the Roslyn winter guard was named the 2023 MAIN Scholastic A class Gold Medalists. In 2024 at their very-first appearance in a national-level competition, Roslyn placed 4th in Scholastic A Class at the WGI Eastern Regional Championship finals and earned a top-25 ranking of all competitive programs in the nation 1/5 1/6

Join the Pit Crew! As you are aware, our children have been hard at work gearing up for our tremendous 2025 production, "Fate's Whisper”. As the competition season begins, the job of the Pit Crew is just beginning. RMB’s PIT CREW and its members are like “Roadies”. For every rehearsal, the students in the band unload, set up and then break down and stows all props. However, on competition days, students are in costume and have pre-show warm-up and routine - so the PIT CREW helps them out with unloading and set up. We also help them stage the props, and roll the props on and off the field for their performance. After the show, the students break the props down and put them back into the trailers with our guidance and supervision. The students need help from parents to make sure the production runs as smooth as possible. This year, we have eight (8) performances before we head to Syracuse. The PIT CREW is an integral part of all competitions. WE NEED YOU! You don't need to be handy or strong - just willing to help! The Roslyn Band Fans Pit Crew Chiefs, Matt Phelps and Scott Nussbaum, will provide all the on-the-job training you'll need and will find what role is best for you. This is also a rare chance to be involved in your children’s lives and make a difference. You’ll also meet a great group of parents who have formed life-long friendships. Whether its one show, or all, come support the best organization Roslyn has to offer. The Marching Bulldogs are four time State Champions and Governor’s Cup Recipients (2015, 2017, 2022, 2024).
