Welcome to the Roslyn High School fall color guard! We are the performance and visual story-telling ensemble that performs with the award-winning Roslyn marching band. We spin flags and rifles, we dance, and we create stunning visual effects that interpret the show theme and music. We train throughout the year in dance, equipment, and performance classes to produce our fall show. While we may make it look easy, it takes a lot of time, effort, and dedication to put our productions together. 1/8

Support the Roslyn Marching Band! The Roslyn Marching Bulldogs have a proud legacy of excellence, having secured four state championships in 2015, 2017, 2022, and most recently in 2024. Their latest triumph marked a historic milestone as they claimed the top spot in the prestigious SS1 class – the highest division for small schools – earning the Governor’s Cup with a remarkable score of 94.35. The Bulldogs didn’t just win; they dominated, also receiving the high caption awards for Best Music, Best Visual, and Best General Effect, showcasing their all-around mastery and dedication. As the band continues to grow and reach new heights, they are currently fundraising for a much-needed new trailer to transport instruments and equipment safely and efficiently. Every donation, big or small, brings them one step closer to this vital goal. On February 7, 2026, the Roslyn High School Winterguard will be hosting a showcase featuring 11 of the best winterguards on Long Island. We are expecting around 1,000 spectators from all over the island, in support of the various high school teams that will be performing. We are asking local businesses to support our hard working students by purchasing an ad in our commemorative event journal. Winter Guard When the marching band season ends, many of our members continue spinning as members of our winter guard. Winter guard takes place indoors (in a gymnasium), and involves students performing to recorded music with intellectual productions, elaborate scenery and props. Our winter guard appears in the Mid Atlantic Indoor Network (MAIN) locally, as well as Winter Guard International (WGI) at the national level. In their first ever competitive season, the Roslyn winter guard was named the 2023 MAIN Scholastic A class Gold Medalists. In 2024 at their very-first appearance in a national-level competition, Roslyn placed 4th in Scholastic A Class at the WGI Eastern Regional Championship finals and earned a top-25 ranking of all competitive programs in the nation 1/5 1/6
