The Bulldogs didn’t just win; they dominated, also receiving the high caption awards for Best Music, Best Visual, and Best General Effect, showcasing their all-around mastery and dedication. As the band continues to grow and reach new heights, they are currently fundraising for a much-needed new trailer to transport instruments and equipment safely and efficiently. On February 7, 2026, the Roslyn High School Winterguard will be hosting a showcase featuring 11 of the best winterguards on Long Island. We are expecting around 1,000 spectators from all over the island, in support of the various high school teams that will be performing. We all live inside a box, shaped by habits, routines, and expectations that make life feel safe and predictable. Over time, these figurative walls fade from view, and what once felt protective quietly becomes limiting. Even when it feels normal, we remain trapped in a box. As awareness of our confinement grows, so does the desire to get out. We test our boundaries, searching for something more, something beyond what we know. The box shifts, stretches, and transforms, offering the illusion of escape. But each step forward reveals a familiar truth: outside of one limitation is simply another one. Every new perspective reshapes the space around us, redefining what we believe is possible. Our boxes move, but they never disappear. What changes is how we see them, and how they confine us. conFINeD is not about breaking free. It’s about living inside the box, questioning it, and attempting to reshape it. It’s not about thinking outside the box, but learning to see the box itself, and understanding that each transformation presents new boundaries. No matter how you view the box, you will always remain trapped within it.
